Daschle Thanks Chairman Harold Frazier for
Service at Democratic National Convention

Sioux Falls – Senator Tom Daschle today thanked Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Chairman Harold Frazier for his service as Assistant Sergeant at Arms at the Democratic National Convention. Chairman Frazier was recommended for the position by Senator Daschle and appointed by Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry.

“Chairman Frazier has served our convention well and been an outstanding representative of South Dakota,” said Senator Daschle. “I am pleased he has had the opportunity to participate in our convention and look forward to continuing to work with him on issues important to Native Americans in South Dakota and across the country.”

Frazier was one of three Assistant Sergeants at Arms at the convention. Others serving with Frazier included New York State Assemblyman Peter Rivera and former Senator Jean Carnahan.
