Daschle
Thanks Chairman Harold Frazier for
Service at Democratic National Convention
Sioux
Falls – Senator Tom Daschle today thanked
Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Chairman Harold Frazier
for his service as Assistant Sergeant at Arms at
the Democratic National Convention. Chairman Frazier
was recommended for the position by Senator Daschle
and appointed by Democratic Presidential nominee
John Kerry.
“Chairman
Frazier has served our convention well and been
an outstanding representative of South Dakota,”
said Senator Daschle. “I am pleased he has
had the opportunity to participate in our convention
and look forward to continuing to work with him
on issues important to Native Americans in South
Dakota and across the country.”
Frazier
was one of three Assistant Sergeants at Arms at
the convention. Others serving with Frazier included
New York State Assemblyman Peter Rivera and former
Senator Jean Carnahan.
